Over the last few weeks our world has entered a heightened period of awareness when it comes to inequality. Sparked, but not isolated, by events in the United States, we are reminded of the work which still needs to be done in addressing issues of race, prejudice and discrimination. This is not an issue isolated to this country or the next. It is an issue we must all do our part to address.

Recently, as our entire Mount Saint Agnes family grappled with what has been happening, we learned that members of our family felt unheard. MSA is family. Family listens when its members need to be heard. We are listening.

As we listen, we stand in solidarity. #blacklivesmatter
