Ways to Give

Dedicated to offering our students the strongest well-rounded foundation possible since 1890.

As an Alberta Accredited International School, MSA delivers a world-class curriculum. Our student-centered approach ensures students are provided with the encouragement to develop their skills to fulfill their maximum potential.

To be the best requires constant renewal, improvement, and support from our extended family. We invite our alumni, parents and the broader community to participate in supporting our school by giving of your time, talent and/or monetary contribution towards our Annual Giving Program.

Partner in Education:

Parents are our partners in education and we encourage you to take an active role in school life as we believe our students benefit from seeing their parents participating in school activities. There are many ways to connect:

  • ‘Meet the Teachers’ nights
  • Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences
  • Grade level meetings
  • Career Planning
  • MSA Home & School Association

We also celebrate the importance of family involvement through various events throughout the year:

  • Grandparents’ Mass
  • The MSA Bazaar
  • Remembrance Day Prayer Service
  • Christmas Concert & Tableau
  • Mothers’ Mass
  • St. Joseph’s Feast Day Mass for Fathers

Volunteer:

Schools are a busy place, there is always something to help with! Consider committing a regular lunchtime to help supervise our elementary or middle school students or help with one of our annual events, like the Christmas Concert or Bazaar.

MSA has an active Home & School Association which organizes social and fundraising events. Our annual Bazaar has become our greatest fundraiser and we rely on our parents to organize and run this wonderful, family event.

Donate – Your Support is Fundamental:

With the help of our MSA family, made up of alumni, parents, and friends, we will continue to grow and enrich our students’ educational foundation, enabling their continued success as our future leaders.

The Annual Giving Program: Invest in Today
Tuition alone doesn’t cover the cost of education – supporting MSA’s Annual Giving Program is an investment in assisting today’s students to become tomorrow’s leaders. Yearly gifts help to cover the actual cost of educating MSA students by meeting our goal of continuing to renew and improve our physical plant, technological growth or student enrichment, as well as student bursaries. The Annual Giving Program has a direct impact on our students, faculty, and staff in their efforts to continue MSA’s high standard of achieving and providing a well-rounded education.

Give the gift of education, every gift makes a difference – whether $50 or $5,000.

  • Capital Gifts
MSA’s long and short-term goals are set by the School Principal and Board of Governors. At their direction, the Development Office actively seeks support for educational facilities and financial planning.
  • Planned Giving
Many of our alumni have found that supporting MSA through a bequest is a simple and rewarding legacy to leave.
  • Gifts In Memory
Making a memorial contribution is a wonderful way to honor someone special and give the gift of education to our future citizens.

It is through the development of strong alumni and community support that we will ensure that the MSA legacy continues to evolve and flourish. Your gift to MSA is more than a pledge of financial support or volunteer hours; it is a bold statement that excellence matters in a well-rounded education.
